About me
Philip has over 20 years experience of running a small business, this experience and knowledge has been gained the hard way, by actually learning from his own mistakes and vowing not to repeat them. He has a passion to help other people who want to get their businesses to perform to their best and can directly relate to a lot of the issues small business owners experience, even down to the sleepless nights, financial limitations and the responsibilities felt by employing others.

His knowledge is as broad as it is deep, from developing a strategy, unleashing potential, recruiting & managing staff, computer software & systems, internet, sales & marketing, controlling & managing financial resources, goal setting & success monitoring. All the knowledge and skills required to run a small profitable and sustainable business well.

His passion to support a small business has been felt by literally hundreds of businesses over the last 10 years, while he has been working in the business support arena, from direct one to one on site coaching or mentoring of business owners, creating and delivering hands on business improvement workshops for and with the University of Derby to writing software that helps a business to communicate more reliably and effectively with their clients.

He is well known for his easy to deal with manner, his enthusiasm to help others, the ability to listen, challenge and understand others point of view, the natural ability to deliver his advice clearly and concisely, the ability to work at others learning speeds while encouraging others to run their business, by making decisions from informed opinions and to help others achieve their dreams with his motivation rarely waning.

Philip says “if a business owner wants help and can invest the time in seeking that help then the least I can do is listen to that call and be there”.
