It is widely recognised that the role of the independent business leader is probably the toughest and loneliest position in business. In addition to the leadership role, at times, one is expected to be the Sales Director, the Finance Director, the HR Director, the Marketing Director and also know all the answers to any question. No one is an expert in all these areas, and as most independent business leaders don’t have an expert management team to turn to, a large number of independent businesses are not performing to their true potential. On the surface these businesses may look reasonably successful. But, actually, they’re proving to be difficult to manage, they’re producing unpredictable results and they are largely unrewarding for the business owner.

Working closely with Business Owners, we help to diagnose and understand the problems and issues they are facing, to develop and then implement a comprehensive performance improvement programme and to build a business that performs to its true potential. With a focus on delivering real results, we help Business Owners to improve the performance of their business.

We deliver improved business performance and success via a two step process:

The first step involves conducting a Business Improvement Audit. The Business Improvement Audit, is a detailed and objective assessment of the business covering all the key business functions. It is a comprehensive “health check” of the business. The Business Improvement Audit is designed to identify all the problems and issues that are holding back performance of the business and also any hidden opportunities that can be exploited to help develop and grow the business.

The second step involves taking the output from the Business Improvement Audit and applying fundamental business practices, tools and strategies to develop a roadmap for sustainable success known as a Business Support Programme. The Business Support Programme will show you how to overcome your problems and issues, how to develop your opportunities and will map out exactly what you need to do – and then help you to do it.
