1959-1970 Royal Air Force aircraft fitter airframes (A:Fitt:A) aircraft systems engineer working on fast jet aircraft in UK and overseas with the rank of Snr Technician (SNC0) - Technician Engineer), Member, Inst of General & Technician Engineers, within Inst. of Mechanical Engineers.

1970-1975 Aerodynamicist, parachute designer and parachute test jumper with the Irvin Parachute Company on military and aviation escape parachute system. 1,500 parachute jumps.

1975-1980 Project manager and design team leader with British Aerospace Dynamics working on interception missile systems.

1981-1984 Deputy branch sales manager with Kalamazoo Business Systems working in the East Midlands in the micro, small and medium enterprise sector providing integrated accounting, payroll and financial management systems.

1985-1990 Key account national sales executive in the advertising industry, print and broadcast media, working the advertising agencies and large clients.

1991 to date: Independent professional consultant, management trainer and coach/mentor in the micro, small and medium enterprise sector in the East Midlands.

2000-2005: Member, Derby Mountain Rescue & Water Search team for 5 years, voluntary service duties unpaid and not expensed.

Ongoing duties: Voluntary service work in the community and supporter of disabled ex-service personnel.
