Doing the business; strategic thinking and everyday entrepreneurship - Prof. Tony Watson

The ability to think strategically is essential to the success of the entrepreneurial business and can have greater impact than simply developing a strategic plan.  This presentation will introduce you to the ways in which successful entrepreneurs think for practical everyday effect.

“Enlightening to hear different perspectives on strategic thinking and the behaviour of managers.”

New business ideas - Dr. Lee Martin and Dr. Andrew Greenman

Innovation is at the heart of successful businesses but do you really have to wait for a “eureka moment” to come up with new ideas?  This presentation will introduce to a tried and tested technique for identifying problems that need solving and generating commercially viable innovative business ideas to solve them.

“A valuable technique of generating new ideas with that can be transferred to many situations.”

Check out the 7th and 23rd September in the calendar to see the full details of the one day workshops that will follow each of these awareness raising sessions.
