Why do you want to lower your carbon footprint?

Do you want to be more environmentally responsible?
Would you like to achieve these things and reduce your business costs?

This event will introduce techniques and technologies to help your reduce your carbon footprint and don’t forget, if they work for your business, you could also make them work at home.
Carbon reduction techniques
Find out what changes you can make to your working practices to reduce your carbon consumption. Simple changes can make an impact on your carbon footprint and can cost little or nothing to implement. Take away great ideas for good practice.
Carbon reduction technologies
If you’re planning to invest in new technologies to reduce your carbon footprint, find out first what technologies you should be considering and what the payback will be on your investment.
Also, find out how the University is developing ‘new’ approaches to carbon reduction with examples of:
- Microwave applications
- Window technology
- The virtual office
Carbon reduction clinics
After the presentations, there will be an opportunity to talk to staff from the Environmental Technology Centre about your specific carbon reduction issues. ETC staff will also have Environmental Audit Vouchers to give away – each voucher can be redeemed for 2-5 days environmental audit assistance from ETC experts.
Tour the technology demonstrator
