Would you turn down a 21% discount from your suppliers? By not making an R&D tax relief claim you are effectively turning down money from the UK government.
A Small or Medium sized Enterprise spending £100K on qualifying R&R activities is potentially entitled to a £21K corporation tax reduction or cash back of up to £24.5K if loss making.
You could be eligible for R&D tax relief if:
- You employ technical staff such as engineers, scientists or technicians
- Your company has developed any new products, processes, materials, devices or services
- You investigate any technological or scientific issues
- You solve system integration issues
You could also be eligible if you subcontracted such work.
Please join us for breakfast on 1st April 2010 to meet representatives from KPMG's multidisciplinary R&D tax relief team who will be discussing how claims can be made to obtain this fantastic relief using real life project examples.
