For the second time, the University of Nottingham, Nottingham Trent University and the University of Derby are coming together to take some of their most exciting developments from within their technology departments out to regional design and manufacturing businesses.
The Ingenuity in Manufacturing & Design Technologies Exhibition is an ideal opportunity to explore the latest tools, technologies and techniques; also, find out about university initiatives that are supportive of our manufacturing and design businesses, and talk to the people behind them.

Here are just a few of the things you will be able to see, hear and get your hands...

The National Centre for Microwave Processing is dedicated to facilitating step changes on process efficiencies and product quality whilst minimising process waste, energy consumption and environmental impact.

The Bioenergy Research Centre is developing bioenergy sources produced by fermentation - both bioethanol and biobutanol.

Many other technologies will also be on show, all of which have the potential to directly influence your product design or manufacturing process.

The Precision Manufacturing Centre is an ISO9001 accredited facillity.  With support of its high precision technology and experienced staff largely recruited from industry, the centre offers services in product design, one-off prototyping, small-batch contract manufacturing, contract measurement/testing, flexible assembly systems design and bespoke tooling development.
